Crested Butte, CO
Population: 1,339
Crested Butte is a prominent mountain summit in the Elk Mountain Range of the Rocky Mountains. It is one of the more challenging remote towns to access from Denver International Airport (app. 4.5 hours), which is the reason it’s often called “Colorado’s last great ski town.” We call Crested Butte home here at Alpenglow Events, and we might be a little biased because of it, but we can think of few better destinations with beautiful backdrops and amazing mountain living.
